He graduated magna cum laude from the State University of New York, College at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. He continued his education, receiving a Doctorate of Law and Jurisprudence from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law before being admitted to practice in New York State in 2000 and in Federal Courts in 2002.
